Wasps/Yellow Jackets/Hornets

Yellow jackets/wasps are quite common during the summer months of Corfu. Be sure to know your surroundings and the location of the nearest pharmacy if you have knowledge of any type of allergic reactions. It can be really unpleasant when dinning outdoors. Burning fresh Greek coffee in a safe dish seems to keep most of them away. Also, do be aware of the extremely large and terrifying hornets.
